  • Pro-Tip: This is a cash-only, Spanish-speaking gem. It’s small, casual, and perfect for an early breakfast.

2. Cochinita Pibil (The Search for the Best Torta)

Cochinita Pibil is a slow-roasted pork marinated in citrus, and finding the perfect torta (sandwich) is a must.

  • The Vibe: Look for the spots where the pork is juicy and served on fresh, crunchy bread.

  • The Flavor: Top your torta with pickled red onions and a dab of habanero salsa—but be careful, the salsas here pack a punch!

3. Mariskinky
